The second EJ lecture was called “Energy, Another Side of Climate Change.” Professor Yoon delivered the lecture, which clearly outlines the problems that beset energy policies and the counter-actions of Korea. In particular, she focused on Korea’s “O2 emission policies” and its problems using statistical analyses. She also suggested policies and law-systems to counter these problems. She also mentioned that the energy issues are based on the economic-political systems of Korea, and pointed to the role of Korean citizens’ proactive participation in transforming development and support for renewable energy.
