2019 PLZ Forum for Ecozoic Era_Day2-3: Session 2-5 & DMZ Tour
On September 22, the last day of the forum, about 50 participants visited Hwacheon's Chilsung Observatory, one of the DMZ ecological trails. This eco-excursion, led by Jae-chul Seo from Green Korea, was a great opportunity to see and feel the nature of DMZ's conservation values and the rights of nature while looking directly at the DMZ’s nature healed by nature itself in the area of the Civilian Control Line.

2019 PLZ Forum for Ecozoic Era_Day1: Keynote Speech & Session 1
The forum itself was held over two days at KT&G Sangsangmadang Stay in Chuncheon, beginning on September 20. The event was opened by remarks by Kumsil Kang, executive director of People for Earth, a welcoming speech by Moon Soon Choi, governor of Gangwon-do, and congratulatory speeches by Irina Bokova, the former Director-General of UNESCO, and Byung-ok Ahn, chief of the National Climate and Environment Council. These were followed by the keynote speech by Klaus Bosselmann, professor at the University of Auckland, entitled “Earth Governance: The State as Environmental Trustee.”

2019 PLZ Forum for Ecozoic Era_Pre-session: Dialogue on Earth Jurisprudence
This year's PLZ Forum for Ecozoic Era centered on challenges and responses to the acknowledged climate crisis and provided a platform for academic discussions of post-transition systems of governance and alternative ways of living, which existing legal systems have not covered. Before the forum began, a pre-forum session was held at Yujae, People for Earth's office in Seoul, on Thursday, September 19. Maria Sanchez, coordinator of the UN Harmony with Nature Programme, was invited to be the main speaker at the event, which was entitled "Dialogue on Earth Jurisprudence."
