Today the debate on environment and welfare is becoming a global issue for example, the United Nations set the goal of sustainable development in 2015 that will integrate the environment, society and economy for the next 15 years. Ecological Welfare Project for Young Adult Innovators which goes beyond the limitations of existing education projects is the first educational project of People for Earth that was launched in 2016 to explore the new possibilities of ecological life through the combination of two concepts of 'ecology' and 'welfare'. This new Project was co-organized by Hanyang Women's University and People for Earth and funded by Samsung and Community Chest of Korea.

The Project was held for a total of five weeks from October 29, 2016 to December 3, 2016, with a group of thirty young adults who had been selected. Twenty-six of them completed it and their 5 sessions of interviews are documented. The Project was the very first in the country suggesting the concept of ‘ecological welfare’ and the five lectures given by six expert lecturers were systematically designed and organized.
